Dwight Ricketts is the Senior Manager of Field Operations at the Jamaica Social Investment Fund (JSIF), having joined the organization in October 2016. Armed with more than 23 years of experience in engineering and management, he has worked in both the private and the public sectors. Two notable entities he has worked with are, the St. Mary Banana Estates (a subsidiary of Jamaica Producers) in the capacity of Agricultural Engineer; and at the then Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries in the capacity of Executive Engineer and Senior Director (Facilities and Property Management). He holds a Masters of Engineering Degree specializing in Water Resources from the University of Guelph (Canada) and a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from the University of the West Indies (Trinidad and Tobago). Currently, he is a Council member of the Jamaica Institute of Engineers (JIE). His involvement in community service includes building capacity of the Scout Association of Jamaica, where he is the present Chairman of the St. Andrew Local Association and a member of the National Executive Committee. Mr. Ricketts is committed to applying his leadership and engineering skills in rural and urban areas to build capacity, empower persons, and effect improved infrastructure in under-served communities.
